"Splendida stella" – Musical Reflections of Sanctity in 17th-Century Venice The grand finale of the Dvigrad Festival's concert programme takes us to Baroque Venice – a city where sacred music, splendour and innovation met in a unique artistic atmosphere. On Thursday, 1 October at 8 PM, in the Basilica of St. Martin in Sveti Lovreč, Ensemble Responsorium will perform. The programme "Splendida stella – Musical Reflections of Sanctity in 17th-Century Venice" brings music from the Venetian sacred tradition of the 17th century and reveals the richness of sound characteristic of one of the most important European musical centres of the time. In the historic setting of the Basilica of St. Martin, expect a closing evening dedicated to early music, spirituality and Venice's rich musical heritage. Free admission.
