Once Upon a Time… Discovering the World Through Stories

A new group for children is starting at the Italian Community “Giovanni Palma” in Tar: Once Upon a Time… Discovering the World Through Stories A creative Italian-language workshop for children aged 6 to 10 The workshop is a journey into the fantastic world of fairy tales, stories and nursery rhymes, with fun and engaging activities that let children learn and practise Italian in a natural, stimulating way. Each session is dedicated to one story and offers plenty of opportunities to draw, make creative crafts, build puppets and small objects, sing, dance, play with words and bring stories and characters to life. There will also be activities linked to the traditions, culture and heritage of the area, to spark curiosity and value each child's experiences. Through play, creativity and active participation, children will enrich their vocabulary, develop their imagination, express themselves freely and share experiences with their peers, gaining more and more confidence in using Italian. The programme includes four sessions a month, always with different activities, designed to turn every story into a new chance to discover, create and have fun together. Sandra Perčić, a primary school class teacher at the Italian Primary School “Bernardo Parentin” in Poreč, will guide the children on this journey. We look forward to seeing you on Thursday, November 5 at 5:00 PM at the Italian Community “Giovanni Palma” in Tar, to begin a journey of stories, imagination and new friendships together!
