Opening of the exhibition Djeca slikom do Vile Marije – Central Library Pula | Advent in Pula 2026

The opening of the final exhibition of the project Djeca slikom do Vile Marije (Children Through Pictures to Villa Maria) takes place on Wednesday, December 9, 2026, from 12:00 PM to 1:00 PM at the Central Library Pula (Gradska knjižnica i čitaonica Pula), Kandlerova 39, as part of Advent in Pula 2026. The exhibition presents works created this year within a project carried out through various activities at the Vila Maria home for adults in Pula. For years the project has pursued the basic aim of destigmatising people with mental health difficulties and reducing prejudice against them. It raises awareness that people with mental health difficulties are members of our society with their own needs and wishes and, despite their limitations, have potential that should be supported and developed so that their lives, according to their abilities, can be as good as possible. The opening is a chance for visitors during Advent to see these works and learn about the project's message. When: Wednesday, December 9, 2026, 12:00 PM – 1:00 PM Where: Središnja knjižnica Pula (Gradska knjižnica i čitaonica Pula), Kandlerova 39 Organiser: JU Pula Film Festival (Advent u Puli)
